Guys, recently I’ve been LIVING for my podcast queue. Whenever I’m walking, doing chores, riding the subway, etc. I’m listening to a podcast and trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible. Whether that knowledge applies to everyday news, health and wellness or business. This appetite for knowledge and need for multitasking is exactly why we are in the golden age of podcasts, yes I just made that up, but I think it is 100% true. We are addicted to information and we’re too lazy to read it so we’re listening to EVERYTHING. Below are a few of my current favorites that I’ve been living on…

1| Bad On Paper:

This podcast is the newest to my lineup, but I’m already in L-O-V-E. This podcast has been on my forever since it hosted by one of my favorite bloggers, Grace Atwood but I just started listening and I’m surprisingly very into it. I always thought this podcast recapped books and they do, but it is so much, much more. Grace and Becca are vaults of knowledge and I can always find something to learn from their playful banter. Since I’m not a HUGE reader, I use this podcast to keep me accountable for my goal to read more often and when I don’t read I’m surprised by their life advice and product recommendations.

VIBE: This is the only podcast I listen to in the evening while I finish my nightly chores. It encourages me to pick up that paperback before headed to bed.

2| The Influencer Podcast:

If you are a blogger, publicist or digital marketer, you need to be listening to The Influencer Podcast by Julie Solomon. Julie is an industry leader who has so much to share on today’s influencer landscape. From inspiring guests to tips on how to monetize your influence, Julie truly is a trusted advisor in building your influence in this sometimes intimidating industry.

VIBE: I love listening to Julie’s podcast when I’m doing mundane tasks in my desk job (i.e. aggregating data, data entry, etc.) so it still feels like I’m making the most out of my time.

3| WorkParty:

This one is ALL about the A-list guests that I find incredibly inspiring. Work Party is hosted by Create & Cultivate, Jaclyn Johnson and introduces her listeners to guests like Venus Williams, Kenda Scott, Barbara Corcoran, Kristin Bell, the list can go on and on. I love hearing their individual stories and how they got to where they are today or a little bit about their day-to-day and how they stay inspired. This podcast inspired me so much that I bought tickets to the Create & Cultivate NYC conference.

VIBE: When you need to feel motivated to crush a big presentation this is the podcast you need to listen to. I usually listen to WorkParty on the subway on my way to work.

4| LadyGang Podcast:

These ladies are a national treasurer. Not only do Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek and Becca Tobin  host an AMAZING podcast that celebrates the eight wonder of the world that is female friendship, they also recently got their own show on E!, which is on every Sunday after Keeping Up With The Kardashian and Busy Tonight. Of course, my celebrity gossip obsessed heart loves the Hollywood-focused conversations that occur on this podcast (and on the show!). Not to mention the fact that I’m a longtime fan of Becca Tobin– Glee for lyfe.

VIBE: For some reason, this has become my Saturday and Sunday morning soundtrack. I love how carefree it is and makes my weekend chore go way faster than usual.

5| The Morning Toast:

I know this one is #5 on this list, but it is truly #1 in my heart. Seriously, it is the reason that I got into podcasts in the first place! Hosted by Claudia Oshry (@girlwithnojob) and Jackie Oshry (@jackieoproblems), this podcast gives you everything that you need to know every morning. From the latest celebrity gossip, to hard news that keeps you informed on what’s happening in this crazy world, to lighthearted conversation between sisters the Morning Toast feels a little bit like home. Does that make me sound REALLY cheesy? Yes, but it is true! Listening to these two ladies reminds me of a real conversation that I would have with my sister, Tiffany.

VIBE: Every morning. I always listen to the previous day’s show while I’m straightening/curling my hair in the morning.

6| The goop Podcast:

I’ve been reading goop for literal YEARS and the podcast is just as inspiring and enlightening as the blog is. the goop podcast is the podcast you need to listen to when you are trying to reset your life. Maybe you need some self care or maybe you are looking for some diet tips, the goop podcast is a never-ending resource for those kinds of tips. I also love goop because their credibility in the industry scores some top notch guests like Chrissy Teigen, Ashley Graham and Misty Copeland.

VIBE: If I don’t have an episode of The Morning Toast lined up for my morning ritual, I choose the goop Podcast because it puts me in the right mindset for the rest of the day.
