It may be the end of February, but I’m already dreaming of summer weekends spent shoreside. I’ve always been a lover of Lilly Pulitzer’s swim collection, but the styles they rolled out last week is hand-down the best I’ve seen in a VERY long time. In years past, they’ve only released one or two prints in limited styles, this year they went full throttle with  three different prints and TEN different styles. From string bikinis to tankinis and plunge necked one-pieces, this collection has something for every body type and comfort level.

Two-Pieces

I usually tend to sway more towards two-pieces, because I’m always working on that tan. 🙈  I used to be all about the itty bitty bikini, but more recently it is all about how well it fits and how flattering the style can be. I still think my J.Crew bikini from last summer is one of the most flattering bikinis of all-time. Of of this collection, I’m definitely leaning most towards the Guava Triangle Bikini top and the Lagoon Sarong Bikini Bottom because they have the most coverage. There is NOTHING worse than feeling as if you are falling out of your bikini at the beach, at a family BBQ or even just splashing around in the pool with friends.

One-Pieces

This collection gives one-pieces a WHOLE new meaning. Not only are the prints to die for (my favorite being Shady Lady), but the styles are super sexy and sleek. I started wearing one-pieces again a few summers ago when Tom bought me one from Chubbies, and I found that they are actually more revealing and scandalous than you may think! I’m seriously obsessed with these low plunging necklines and scoop backs. Of this collection, I think I’ll splurge for two! The Isle Lattice in Shady Lady and  the Lanai Halter in Catch The Wave.

Thanks to Lilly, I’m already ready for summer or at least a long weekend in Palm Beach! If you’re not into these swim suits, there are also plenty of beach essentials to integrate some Lilly into your resort wardrobe.  Seriously, someone put a freeze on my bank account before I overdraw on Lilly beach towels, sun hats and beach bags.
