The holidays may be over, but ThePreppyMAG Boutique is NOT closed! This year, I carefully curated each piece in our holiday collection to make sure they weren’t limited to the holiday season, but perfect all winter long. Before we get into this pearly outfit, let’s discuss my winter style vibe…

From here on out (or at least until March), I’m in permanent comfy, cozy mode. It is just plain cold here in NYC and I do a lot of traveling to even colder places (like Stratton or Colorado), so comfy, cozy is just mandatory. That being said, you can expect a lot of leggings, bulky sweaters, and cozy sweatshirts in the very near future. While this ThePreppyMAG Boutique sweatshirt is of course on of my faves, below are a few that I’ve also had my eye on.

Now, let’s talk about this fabulous, prep-perfect sweatshirt! This was one of the first pieces I selected for ThePreppyMAG Boutique’s holiday collection and was the first that I shared publicly on my Instagram back in OCTOBER (feels so long ago now!). As soon as I saw this sweatshirt, I knew that I would be living in it all season long. From throwing it on to run errands (and just have that feeling you’ll run into a co-worker/ex/etc.), to dreaming of a comfortable Sunday brunch to even traveling, this sweatshirt is actually all you need. Seriously, I even wore this on the 7 hour flight to London back in December!

A few things that you need to know– this sweatshirt absolutely fits true-to-size, but the raw hem is definitely cut a bit cropped than a normal sweatshirt so if you think that you have a longer-than-average torso or prefer things longer, I recommend sizing up! In these photos I’m wearing a small.

Something else you may be wondering, how do these pearls hold up over time? Not even a necessary question! I’m lazy, so I’ve put this through the wash a number of times and it still looks good as new. The pearls are all still in tact with no signs of damage. Definitely different from some of the other beaded tops that I have purchased in the past!
