Dress (KJP) | Boots (Tory Burch) 30% off | Watch (MVMT)

Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! I cannot believe autumn is almost over and we are heading into the winter holidays! WHERE did this season go?! Actually, where did this year go?! Does anyone else feel like 2018 flew by?! While it may have been a super busy year with little time to enjoy the moments, there have been a TON to be thankful for and that is something I’m ready to celebrate.

Below are 5 things that I’m thankful for this year and that I’ll be toasting to tomorrow. I love to be inspired by all of you so please share what you are most thankful for in the comments.

1| Friends & Family. Above everything, I’m thankful to have an amazing support system around me at every twist and turn. Whether I’m promoting my business, hustling at my day job, looking for an adventure or just need an ear to listen, I have so many amazing people in my life that make the crazy in this world juuusssstttt a little bit more bareable.

2| The Real Housewives. Yes, seriously! Not only they my ultimate stress relief (give me RHONY every day of the week), but they are ironically the cause of a lot of my stress since the majority of my days are spent working on Bravo’s social media strategy. I’m so thankful that I have a job that I consider both fun and fulfilling.

3| New challenges. When I think of this year, it is one of the first year’s I can’t really pinpoint any successes, but I can pinpoint a whole lot of challenges (professionally, personally, emotionally, mentally, etc., etc., etc.) and while they were difficult at the time (and now), I’ve learned from them and that I am thankful for.

4| New Adventures. While this year has been a slower year for travel compared to 2017, it was still an amazing one with trips to Vermont, Bahamas, Montreal, Quebec, Tadoussac and Tom and I will be jetting off to London in December! Each trip comes with new perspective and a refreshed motivation.

5| Good Health. I know this seems like a ‘DUH,’ but as someone who can get easily worked up and stressed it is important to be thankful for my health (both physically and mentally) and take a second to realize that life is good because I’m healthy and happy.

What I’m Wearing

Dress (KJP) | Boots (Tory Burch) 30% off | Watch (MVMT)

If you haven’t discovered KJP’s flannel dresses yet, you are missing out on life! Seriously, they fit incredibly and they are SO comfortable it is almost ridiculous. I love this print because it is perfect for that autumn to holiday transition during this time of year. In Fall, I wear it for ALL of the Oktoberfest and pumpkin picking festivities, but once we are celebrating the holidays I throw on some red lipstick and I’m Christmas ready. If you are looking for a style that is a LITTLE more holiday-focused, I recommend checking out this post I styled last year!

In perfect Sarah Vickers style (one of the KJP founders), I paired this flannel dress with a pair of classic Tory Burch riding boots. I’ve had these babies for years and they still look as good-as-new and lucky for you Tory is having a 30% off sale to celebrate Thanksgiving. While autumn may be over, you can catch me wearing riding boots all winter long.

As most of you know, I’m simple when it comes to accessorizing. For this outfit, I paired a few classic rose gold accents. First with my rose gold and marble-faced MVMT watch and my delicate rose gold infinity Tiffany ring that Tom gave me for Christmas a few years back. I’m a huge rose gold fan and have had my eye on this MVMT watch for quite some time so was so excited when they reached out to work with ThePreppyMAG. I find the style so classically feminine and on-rend with the iconic marble face. If you are crushing on this watch as much as I am, you can use the code THEPREPPYMAG15 for $15 off your MVMT purchase. 👍
