Spring is here and it’s giving me SO much life. The weather has been AMAZING, the flowers are blooming, peonies are being sold in my local bodega. Life is GOOD.

Not only am I getting more active with long evening walks in the neighborhood, I’m also feeling more creative than I have in a really long time (hence, all the new content here and over on Instagram). And this burst in creativity just has me feeling more like me than I have felt in a LONG time, which is exactly how I feel about this outfit.

Top (Abercrombie) | Skort (Abercrombie) | Bag (Chanel) | Loafers (Chanel)

This outfit is giving OG ThePreppyMAG vibes. If you’ve been here for a while, you remember when I used to dress biz casual to class in college or when I was all about the argyle sweater vests in my early twenties. I love that a more tailored look is coming back into the trends and the feeling I feel when I’m wearing it is making me regret some of my trendier fashion decisions (long live the pop of color).

This Spring-perfect suit is from Abercrombie. I just love the resurgence of the brand and how they are bringing back preppy trends. Will be layering polos by the end of the year? A girl could only dream. All that said, my absolute favorite part of this suit is that it’s a SKORT! So much more comfortable in general but makes it more functional if you are commuting on the subway or just work in a semi-active job.

I just love a two-piece set because it makes styling SO easy, (similar to why I love wearing dresses as soon as it’s warm enough). I paired this suit with my navy Chanel loafers, which are honestly a Spring staple for me. I love wearing them with jeans to elevate an otherwise relaxed look. And for my bag, I truly wish I had a navy leather Chanel (a girl can dream) but this beige one always matches everything and works overtime for me come Spring and Summer.
