Is it just me or is your schedule booking up LIKE CRAZY! From not until the end of the year, it feels like I have a happy hour, dinner, meeting, party, etc. every night of the week! While they are all SO much fun and a big reason why I love the holiday season, all the hustle and bustle can be exhausting. Especially when you have no idea what to wear.

One of my favorite pieces in this year’s holiday collection (I know I say that about every piece, but I just love them all! šŸ˜), is this silky, champagne-colored, pleated skirt. I love the shimmery look it has for the holidays, but it definitely something you can wear all winter long (and honestly through every season!).

Whether it be your office holiday party or a friend’s holiday party at their apartment, this skirt is all you need to feel put-together and festive in a pinch. I actually wore this exact outfit on Thanksgiving because it was just elegant enough for our family dinner and it is SO comfortable. The skirt has an elastic waistband, which I find personally flattering because it stretches and moves with you instead of cutting you off in any weird/unwanted places.

Some may call me boring, but I’m a fan of keeping the rest of this outfit simple. While the color is pretty lowkey, you’re still working with silk and pleats so an overly ornate top may feel too mismatched and messy. My favorite black turtlenecks that I wear all Winter long are from the Gap. They are so comfortable, I actually just re-stocked in a few different colors.

When it comes to shoes, this is where you can get me to be a bit more adventurous depending on the occasion. If you are dressing for your annual office holiday party, I almost always recommend going simple. An easy patent leather pump like the ones I’m wearing feel super festive and professional. However, if you are attending a friend’s holiday party and maybe it is at an extra fancy or festive venue, I would 100% spice it up with a bow like these velvet ones from Revolve.

Now, are you ready to take the marathon of holiday parties by storm? I know I’ll be wearing this skirt on repeat for at least the next 3 months.
