After a full week in the Hamptons, we’re back in the city and it actually feels kinda good. As much as a weekend at the beach is just what the doctor ordered, I’m anxious to get back into a routine and start jamming on a few new projects that I have on the horizon. 😍

This week, I’m anticipating a pretty crazy work week as everyone returns back from vacation and gets back to normal, which is why I’m keeping it pretty low-key this week and planning on staying in the city next weekend. This will be my first weekend home since before we were in France (memorial day week!), so I’m looking forward to sleeping in, organizing things around the apartment and of course, getting a chance to experience some of my favorite Summer activities in the city.

For starters, I’ll definitely be hitting some of my favorite restaurants that I’ve been missing over the past few weeks, like the Odeon that I’m posing in front of here. The Odeon is a French restaurant in the heart of Tribeca and I always seem to be drawn to it in the Summer. I love the quaint tables set up outside and of course, the little ice cream stand right at the front door. You can definitely find me here with a bottle of rose come Saturday.

Summer in the city definitely isn’t easy (it’s hot, it smells, etc.), but it’s DEFINITELY worth the wait through the cold and brutal winters we have!

After a very patriotic weekend (proof here), I had to share this gorgeous Gal Meets Glam two-piece set that is one of the cutest summer ensembles in my closet right now, maybe only second to this two-piece that I shared a few weeks back. This red, white and blue ensemble made an appearance over the holiday weekend when I enjoyed a Friday night at Dockers (a Hamptons favorite!), but it will definitely be on repeat throughout the Summer.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, there are few brands out there that fit as well as Gal Meets Glam. Every dress or set that I’ve bought from them have fit like a glove, up to the buttons! Seriously, when was the last time you wore a top or dress that buttoned over your chest that didn’t result in awkward gaping or pulling over the buttons? Both two-piece sets have buttons up the front and both fit PERFECTLY, no gaping, NOTHING.

One of the things I love most about Summer is accessorizing with straw and tortoise neutrals. I bought this straw Kate Spade New York bag last summer and it has been one of those unexpected necessities. Given the straw look goes with literally EVERYTHING, it has also become one of my travel go-tos. Makes traveling light SO much easier. Same goes for my tortoise accessories. The golden and neutral brown hues in tortoise not only ground your entire Summer outfit, but it also matches your tan.
