Woof! Why is it only Tuesday, but it feels like we’ve already worked a whole week?! Getting back to work after a little break is always exhausting, especially when it includes one of the biggest premieres that I’ve EVER worked on (have you checked out Dirty John on Bravo, yet?!)!

I don’t know about you, but whenever I’m feeling a little tired or burnt out, I up my wardrobe a little bit. Getting a little dressed up always makes me feel juuusssttt a little bit better. This is why I’m breaking out this pink velvet blazer over the next few weeks. As Dirty John ramps up, there is no doubt the days will be long so I want to make sure I stay on my A-game. Not to mention this whole blog and boutique I’m running on the side. 🙈

Planning your outfits to be a little extra than you are used to will force you to feel a bit more put together and prepared to take the day on as a total ‘Girl Boss.’ Since I work in a VERY relaxed environment (leggings and sneakers are totally acceptable), a little blazer and some heels (literally any heels, pumps, boots, ANYTHING) does the trick.

What I’m Wearing

Everything about this blazer is amazing. From the GORGEOUS blush pink color to the shawled neckline and cinched sleeves, there is nothing more to love. Unlike most blazers that feel really stiff and restricting, this one is super comfortable and easy to move in. If you are running around your office all day every day, you know this is a NECESSITY.

In terms of sizing, I definitely think this baby is true-to-size. While it isn’t totally flattering when buttoned, it feels a bit roomy when left open.

I loved styling this blush blazer with navy and gold staples and accessories. I always say navy is my neutral, but pink and navy is my absolute favorite color combination. For me, ripped jeans and a stripped turtleneck is a winter staple, so this blazer dresses up and otherwise very comfortable outfit for me. Perfect for those days where you want to feel just a little bit more put together and prepared for the day.

Speaking of the pink and navy color combo, this outfit is made 10X better by pairing ThePreppyMAG’s new velvet navy crossbody bag, ‘What You’re Wearing Everyday.’ As I mentioned, navy is a neutral for me, which is why I’ll be wearing this literally EVERYDAY. I wear my navy bags so much more than my black bags because I’m always in jeans and i love how the blue hues play together and the gold chain and tassel accents are just an added plus! 💯

With the nonstop holiday festivities and the work grind leading up to Christmas, there is no doubt that you’ll need an extra boost, so get to it and invest in this adorable pink blazer!
