After all of that holiday shopping, I’m actually not looking to add anything too crazy to my closet right now (for like the first time EVER). Seriously, I don’t ever remember not wanting to shop, but now that I have limited space in my studio apartment I’m actually starting to think realistically about things. Is this what adulting feels like?

1| Furry coats. Okay, so I received a cheetah-printed furry coat from Santa (thanks, mom!) and I’m officially obsessed with over-sized statement coats. It took guts for me to wear it to the office that first day back, but now I have a feeling it will be an every day option. Out of all of my January picks, this one is the hardest to deny myself. Especially since it is on SALE!

2| Blush handbags. Like the rest of the world, I’m currently obsessed with blush (or millennial pink) making me crave this pearl-studded Kate Spade bag. It will match perfectly with my pearled collection from ThePreppyMAG.

3| Ski-perfect sweaters. I already have a few weekends booked to head up back to the mountains, and nothing gets me like theme-appropriate attire. I personally love the retro-look of this sweater and it seems super comfy.

4| Velvet Leggings. You need to buy these immediately. I actually already have this pair in black and pink and this blue-gray pair is definitely next to join the collection. They are uber comfortable and can either be dressed up or down. I actually wore the black pair on NYE.

5| Furry Loafers. Yeah, yeah, I know these are knock-offs, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t adorable and you need to have them. Who needs to spend hundreds thousands on a pair of borderline slippers when you can get them for $25? Let’s be real, you know that fur won’t last here in NYC.

6| Cheetah Everything. As mentioned above, I’m having a cheetah moment right now. I’ve always been a cheetah girl (#DisneyChannelForever), but I love re-adding this print to my wardrobe during the winter months. These shoes will be the perfect addition for my otherwise dark winter color pallet.

7| Matte lipstick. Laura Mercier sent me these amazing velour extreme matte lipsticks and I couldn’t be more obsessed. They glide on super easily and last all night long. I wore the ‘Ruthless’ shade on NYE.

8| One-Piece Swimsuits. Unfortunately, my Florida for this weekend was cancelled due to the #BombCyclone here in NYC, BUT I have a new found appreciation for one-pieces. While I won’t be headed anywhere warm in the near future, one-pieces are perfect for the ski lodge jacuzzi.
