It’s a new year, which means it is time to adopt a few new habits to A) make life easier and B) save a little $$ while you’re at it. Meet your new bestie, Dryel. Dreyl is an at-home dry cleaning product that removes bacteria and odors from clothing without any of the harsh chemicals.
If you are already skeptical, I was too but I promise you should keep reading! Overall, this product isn’t going to fully replace your favorite local dry cleaners. You’ll still need your local dry cleaner for your extra special pieces or large pieces like coats but for your everyday work blouses or dresses, Dryel is a game-changer. Since I’m still working from my home, my dry cleaning bag + bill has gone down significantly so instead of sending out a piece here and there, I’ve been taking on the one or two pieces I have a week all on my own using Dryel.
When I first heard of Dryel, I thought it would be way too difficult for me to get the hang of but it literally takes 2 steps. First, you pre-treat the garment using the Dryel Stain Pen and then you pop it in the dryer using the fabric protection bag + 1 Dryel cleaning cloth. Don’t worry, the fabric protection bag is designed to protect clothes and concentrates the gentle cleaning vapor from the Dryer Activated cleaning cloth within it. So far, I haven’t experienced any fading or shrinking, which I’m chalking up to a HUGE win.
This product has been life-changing so far and has already helped me save money on dry cleaning bills, and my dry cleaning pile is not nearly as large as it usually is when I’m working in the office. As we ramp up back to normal life, I only see this product becoming a bigger part of my life.
You can buy Dryel at a ton of different retailers depending on your preference. My go-to has been Target. It is only $12.59 for the starter kit.
