Happy Black Friday! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and made the best of it given our 2020 circumstances. For the last four years, today has held a pretty special place in my heart + mind, it is ThePreppyMAG Boutique holiday collection launch day!
I think it goes without saying that this year is definitely a little different and the decision to launch a new collection was not an easy one. My holiday collection is usually inspired by all of the festive occasions we experience throughout the holidays with plenty of sparkly dresses and ensembles. This year, of course, that is not the case. Instead of dresses to wear to your office holiday party, I threw in pajamas and quarantine sets for the coziest holiday season we’ve ever seen.
The merchandise isn’t the only thing different this year. Usually, I name the different pieces after different seasonal occasions and activities (Christmas Eve, your holiday party, exploring Christmas villages, etc.), but this year I’m naming my collection after the thing that made staying apart all year long so hard– My Family. Each piece in the collection is named and inspired by the incredible ladies in my family. They all have different personalities and styles, making this one of my favorite collections yet! Meet The Collection
Inspired by my cousin, Mae! Not only is she so fabulous she could be a Gucci model (perfect for this distressed green + red hem), she got engaged last year on Christmas Eve, making this white + red + green the most perfect motif for this season in her life.
This adorable sweater is inspired by my future cousin-in-law, Kristin! Kristin may be new to the family but she is one of my favorite people in the world. She is incredibly classy and has the biggest heart. Just like this sweater, she always looks absolutely perfect.
These cozy PJs are inspired by my cousin, Meagan! She has a ton of energy and is always looking for/starting the party. When she is around, you know you are going to have a good time. She is super down-to-earth and casual, so I know she’ll love spending the holidays starting the best PJ parties in this get-up.
This ICONIC piece is inspired by my sister, Tiffany! Tiffany is beyond fabulous and has such an edgy sense of style, making this jacket perfect for her wardrobe. I just know that she is going to rock this jacket with an epic pair of combat boots.
This is probably my favorite piece in the collection and it is inspired by my cousin Isabelle! No matter where Isabelle is going, she is always dressed to the nines and everything looks amazing on her, even a dress that is jam-packed with accents (high neckline, ruffles, bows, and more).
This sparkly number is inspired by my baby cousin, Alexandra! She is a fifteen-year-old with the fieriest personality. She never goes anywhere without a bit of sparkle.
This is the coziest of them all and it is inspired by my cousin, Elizabeth! Elizabeth is probably the coolest person I know. She makes a killer TikTok and is a true girly girl at heart, making this all-pink suit right up her ally.
