ThePreppyMAG has partnered with Mionetto Prosecco to bring you some entertaining inspiration for the upcoming 3-day weekend!
The long weekend is just around the corner and the bubbly will certainly be flowing with Mionetto. Whether you are sticking around NYC for a stay-cation of heading out east to the Hamptons, I can confidently say that ThePreppyMAG readers will have no shortage of prosecco.
Joining us in NYC from the vineyards of Northeast Italy, Mionetto hosted a blogger event a few weeks back to taste some of their finest selections. From their classic Brute to their newest Gran Rose both are everything you want in a Prosecco. The Brute is crisp and perfect for your weekly mimosas, but the Gran Rosé includes hints of red raspberry and strawberry making it the perfect compliment to summer cocktails.
July 4th weekend comes with A LOT of entertaining out the Hamptons, and bubbly is always on the cocktail menu. With a lot of houseguests, my Mom and I are always trying to keep it as simple as possible and Mionetto helps me do just that. Our go-to cocktail is Prosecco and fresh juice, and fresh fruit. 4th of July festivities start as soon as you wake up in the Hamptons, so we always prepare the night before. For the morning hours, we set our bar with bottles of Prosecco in ice buckets and carafes of orange juice and grapefruit juice. As we celebrate throughout the day we find that our mimosas become sans juice so we set out bowls of fresh fruit, usually strawberries and blueberries to stay on theme, so our guests can garnish their own flutes. With Mionetto’s new Gran Rosé, I’ll be adding red raspberries to the fresh fruit options!
If living in NYC for the past two years have taught me anything, it taught me that bubbly is meant to be drank at all occassions. It isn’t just for New Year’s Eve and weddings, but finds a place in backyard barbeques like this weekend and almost every other weekend alongside my brunch and besties.
