Are you sensing a trend?! Summer is officially here and I’m on Lilly overload. I’m so happy I went to town on last year’s end-of-summer sale because I feel like I have a brand new summer wardrobe that cost half the price! #winning
This cover-up romper has been coming in clutch so far this summer! The fabric is bathing suit-like so water rolls right off (perfect for the boat!) and it is super light, so you don’t ever break a sweat. In all honesty, rompers are the key to looking and feeling put together. What does “put together” even mean? Seriously ask myself this question every day! It means matching and coordinating and with a romper it is just SO easy. In this case, it was a little too easy to look put together, so I mixed it up a bit with a Lilly Pulitzer bathing suit. Who can resist some print mixing?! Not shown here is another printed hoodie I used when it got a bit windy on the boat. I can never have enough!
Can we talk about this gorgeous view?! I seriously can never get sick of it! I’ve been looking at this view for 20 summers now and it is so special to me. We have pictures all over my parents’ house that has the same view, but growing children and that is what makes it so special to me. As we grow older this place stays the same and really brings us down to earth. There is no place I act more like myself than this beach.
