I finished my final high school exams a couple of weeks ago and the second I stepped out of the classroom I found out I have no plans for the summer. It made sense that I would clean my room and throw away all the papers I won’t need in college, but that would only be a one-day activity, so I decided to make a »bored jar« – a jar filled with ideas you can use when you’re extremely bored.
If you want one, here’s what you’ll need:
1. a mason jar
2. color pens and tape
3. pieces of paper
This is great even if you’re not a DIY professional because it’s really simple!
All you have to do is decorate your jar and fill it with ideas, for example:
Clean your room,
go through your closet,
make something (you can find a lot of ideas on Pinterest),
watch an old movie,
go to the beach,
learn a new language.
Every time you’re bored, just pick a random paper and do what it says. I hope you have a wonderful, bored-free summer with this jar!
How cute and simple! This would be perfect for nannies and babysitters too for ideas on what to do with the kids!
