It’s winter, which means weekends are spent in Stratton, VT. After this weekend, I know one thing is for sure, I’m definitely not as young as I used to be. Weekends in VT used to mean 20+ runs up and down the mountain a day! Waking up at the crack of dawn and not going in until sundown, now I can barely stand up after one run. Nevertheless, I’m starting to appreciate more of what Stratton has to offer– the cozy cabin, the scenic views (pictured above), and the bars…all of the bars.

What I’m Wearing

Sweater (Lilly Pulitzer) | Jeans (Gap) | Boots (L.L. Bean) | Purse (Michael Kors) | Watch (Michael Kors) | Bracelet (Kate Spade)

This ensemble is perfect for a day galavanting around the Stratton village or any ski town for that matter. I’m loving the neutral color combination and how my jeans match my navy-hued L.L. bean boots (a Vermont essential). This ensemble can be easily transitioned season after season with a switch of the shoes. In the fall, wear a pair of Tory Burch riding boots, winter these babies, and early spring some Chanel two-toned neutral flats.

Just like this outfit, these accessories are timeless. Navy is definitely one of my neutrals, so having this new monogrammed crossbody bag will absolutely come in handy over the next few months. And it gets better…the monogramming is 100% FREE!Β

Winter is literally impossible without sweaters and Vermont is perpetual sweater weather.Β However, dropping temps outsides means it’s sweltering pretty much everywhere else. This is why I tend to opt for a lighter sweater like I’m wearing here. This Lilly Pulitzer sweater is perfect for under all of the inevitable layers, but not so heavy that you’re sweating your a** everytime you walk inside.
