Sweater (Charter Club) | Jeans (Abercrombie & Fitch) | Shoes (ASOS) | Bag (Chanel)
Holiday shopping in NYC is part wonderful and part hellacious. While I love the beautifully decorated windows, the crowds are a force to be reckoned with.
The past two weekends have been spent walking up and down 5th avenue (walking equals slowly being pushed by the crowds) leisurely walking into every store, I love how each store has their game face on for the best time of the year.
My favorite was Ralph Lauren. Complete with gorgeous guys welcoming you with chocolate chip cookies at the door and a quaint coffee shop on the second floor. It was impossible not to spend some time in the store.

In the midst of the holiday craze, it is important to be comfortable while shopping. I used to be one of those girls that dressed up to for some city shopping, but it is just unrealistic.
Moving in and out of stores means you are constantly transitioning from extremely cold temperatures to stuffy and over heated ones. This is why I love the ripped jeans theory. While yes they can get a little cold while walking, they are a godsend when you are overheating due to extreme overcrowding.
Your knees may be chilly, but your top will certainly be warm with this cashmere sweater. This sweater has been a go-to so far this season. It is comfortable and goes with EVERYTHING. Skirts, jeans, and even some black leggings. It is definitely a must for your winter wardrobe. Not to mention that cashmere under $70 is a TOTAL steal.
All the stores & malls are so crowded now! I actually try to avoid them and I do all my shopping online if I can
#1 part of my go-to shopping outfit is comfy shoes. If I’m going to be walking a lot, I need to make sure I’m wearing the right shoes.
I love those shoes!
I was in NYC last year during the holidays. The crowds were definitely worth the experience.
I’m all about comfortable leggings along with jeans skirts and boots
That’s a cute and comfy look. I am not brave enough to enter the malls this time of the year 😀

I understand your mixed feelings about shopping for Christmas in NYC. It wouldn’t be for me personally, although I know people who’d love it. That being said, you sure selected a great and comfy outfit.
Cute and comfortable is essential for holiday shopping madness! Love it!!
That looks cute and so comfy! Love it!
Okay, I just adore those shoes. Cheetah and slip ons are my thang.
Looks like some good denim jeans. Very cute look
Girl, I don’t know how you do it! I can not handle NYC’s cold weather…ahhh! I bet there are so many tourists shopping along with you, but how fun to live in such a lively city! I visited two years ago around this time for a girl’s trip and it was so fun.
