Dress (ASOS) | Boots (Tory Burch) | Tights (LOFT) | Clutch (Tory Burch) | Watch (Michael Kors)

It is officially the holiday season and I’m LOVING it! New York City has been gearing up for the holidays for a few months now and I’ve been doing everything in my power to resist the music and decorating. BUT, now it is time to embrace it ALL.

This weekend included family time and some much needed time with old friends. I love returning home to my town in Long Island, it makes me so thankful to have strong roots to such amazing people.

Since my little sister is only home for college for the weekend, we tried to jam in as much as quality bonding time/holiday spirit into the weekend. This included the all four Gilmore Girls “A Year In The Life” episodes and even a quick trip to see the Rockettes in NYC.

What I’m Wearing

Dress (ASOS) | Boots (Tory Burch) | Tights (LOFT) | Clutch (Tory Burch) | Watch (Michael Kors)

It is officially time to break out your holiday wardrobe. This means the plaid, buffalo check, sequins, and the no-so-ugly sweaters. Fashion this time of year is some of my favorite, since it adds to the gorgeous decor we see at every party and street corner.

This dress is one that I’m transitioning from Fall into the holiday season. I love how this plaid works for both season, so you can get the most out of your purchase. While Fall is almost over you can still get a few more wears out of this baby.

Since I wore this outfit during the Fall, I accessorized with some neutral riding boots and my favorite Tory Burch clutch. If you are trying to make this dress more fit for holiday, accessorize with red & gold. I personally can’t wait to wear them with a pair of red flats (UNDER $20!) to up the holiday ante.

Unfortunately, I had to purchase this outfit full price, but you can get every single element of this outfit on SALE with today’s Cyber Monday deals.
