Dress (Chicwish) | Shoes (Lilly Pulitzer) | Bag (Tory Buch)

Stumbled upon this gorgeous mural in Hells Kitchen last night and it conveniently matched my dress perfectly. This mural was made by Pantone and inspired by the 2016 colors of the year, Rose Quartz & Serenity. I’m obsessed

I’m newly obsessed with the online boutique I bought this dress from, Chicwish. Their prices are beyond reasonable (compared to my J.Crew & Kate Spade loves) and their styles are to die for! They really have something for everyone. If you are a classic prep, you can find a TON to fit your wardrobe. If you prefer an edgy flair, they have some amazing skirts & dresses that you would love. I’m always a bit

I’m always a bit apprehensive when I get this dressed up for work because people are always asking “do you have an interview today?” or “why you so dressed up today?” BUT in all honesty, dressing this way makes me feel so much more confident and comfortable than my normal “agency-chic” (black jeans & chambray). This feeling of confident, boss-ladyness is when you know you are truly comfortable in your own skin and what you wear can ABSOLUTELY contribute to that. Basically, I’ve learned to not assimilate to my surroundings but wear what I feel the most comfortable in. If feeling good wasn’t enough of a reason you’ll also stand out in the best way.

Though I wish I had some Serenity accessories to match my Rose Quartz, I paired this dress with neutral accessories. Gold & nude is becoming my go-to lately, especially for summer, but paired with Rose Quartz is super elegant and feminine. How are you accessorizing for summer?
