Dress (Kate Spade) | Bag (Kate Spade) | Watch (Michael Kors) | Bracelet (Stella & Dot)

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the Her Campus blogger event at Kate Spade. Not only did I have the chance to catch up with some blogger friends, I was also treated like a princess by the wonderful staff at Kate Spade. After sipping on some lemonade, taking a few selfies in their “executive” sweet, and finding some of my favorite styles– I can definitely say I’ll be returning in the near future.

Most importantly, let’s talk about the ensemble that I picked up that night! You can call me old fashioned but I’m a sucker for the “no white after labor day” rule. That being said, this week I’m sucking every bit out of this baby! I choose to pair this dress with my black Chanel flats but it would look much much better with a pair of black pumps– I’m just a clumsy girl when walking the streets of NY.

The obvious theme of this outfit is none other than bows! You know I love them and can’t resist a dress/bag/hair tie that includes a one. While the bag caught my eye as soon as I walked in the store, trying this dress on made it irresistible (and caused my wallet to cry a little bit). While there are plenty of bows to go around, this is an otherwise simple outfit so I kept my accessories to a the classics. Your classic gold monogram, your go-to pair of pearls, a gold watch and a simple bangle to join the arm party. While you can never go wrong with black & white– it’s not winter yet, so I brought the color with my Laqa & Co. cheeky lip.

This bag is now my bag of the season. I contemplated picking up the red Julia Street Maise bag but since I wear so much color I figured black was a better choice. I also don’t have a plain leather black bag– who am I!?

So what do you think, yes or no when it come to post-labor day white?
