Top (J.Crew) Skirt (Lilly Pulitzer) Watch (Michael Kors) Shoes (Sperry Top-Sider)
Ever since I was younger I have had an obsession with ladybugs so when I saw this skirt I knew I had to have it. My mom has always told me that they were good luck so when I saw one right before a big test I knew it was going to be okay. That being said, I figured this was the best outfit to start off my blogging career in NYC! These photos were actually taken on the patio of my brand new NYC apartment!
This is the perfect outfit for the smooth transition from Spring to Summer. The ladybugs still give off a springy vibe yet this cotton ensemble keeps you cool all day long as temperatures rise. As you all can probably tell, I love mixing a crazy print with a solid. If you love to do the same the J.Crew Vintage T’s are a great investment. They are lightweight, comfortable, and you will wear them to death! (I’m not kidding I literally wear one everyday)
Yesterday I decided to pair this outfit with a pair of Sperry’s but if you work in a more formal environment and this would only fly on casual Friday’s then match this outfit with a simple nude wedge. These wedges will make staying at Friday happy hour all night long possible!
